My Journey with Dyslexia

A personal discovery sparked my mission. As both a homeschooling parent and education professional, everything changed when we learned my daughter had dyslexia in seventh grade. Despite her strong verbal skills and excellent comprehension, she struggled with reading fluency and spelling.

Finding the Right Solution

After trying several reading programs without success, we discovered the Barton Reading and Spelling program, recommended by dyslexia experts Drs. Brock and Fernette Eide. This program transformed my daughter's learning experience, and her progress inspired me to help others in our community.

From Personal Experience to Professional Mission

Inspired by my daughter's advocacy for dyslexia awareness, I began offering Barton tutoring. The results were remarkable - students showed significant reading improvements within just six weeks. Their success stories fueled my passion to help more learners.

Expanding My Impact

Today, my work has grown beyond Barton tutoring:

• Speaker on dyslexia awareness and advocacy

• Expert on using AI, technology, and tools for neurodiverse learners
